From there, they will develop your idea and communicate with you using in-store examples; photos, computer-generated renderings, and various design tools available to help you visualize your masterpiece.

Our designers can work through logistics, feasibility, durability, and affordability with you. This is a very rewarding process that results in an original piece of fine jewelry of your own design. Custom designs are often inspired by existing jewelry. You may see a piece of jewelry that you like, but prefer it with a different shape, size, or color stone. Frequently, our customers desire an existing item a bit thinner, longer, taller, or favor a different texture or pattern. We are often find ways to create similar jewelry at a price point that meets a budget. You may have even found the perfect design with the exception of its finishes. Simply switching the stone type or using a different precious metal may be just enough to satisfy your personal taste. We’ll make it for you the way that you want it, that’s been our mission since 1980.
Many of our clients have had family heirlooms replicated. In some cases, an additional piece of jewelry is made for another family member. Then there are the favorite jewelry items that were lost or worn-out and need to be replaced. Our team of Designers can redesign or replicate most jewelry items for you, as long as there are no trademark or patent violations incurred by reproducing the item.
You may want to restore original jewelry if the stones or material of a family heirloom hold sentimental value. If so, you may prefer to have this item inspected for restoration. A knowledgeable jeweler will examine the safest restoration method possible, staying true to the original materials and design, while ensuring safe wear.
It all starts with your idea. When you walk through our doors with a dream for a custom engagement ring, we’re prepared to help make that dream a reality. You can explore our vast selection of engagement rings to find designs to customize or meet with one of our experts to begin working out the details of your piece. Once the design is complete, we’ll begin to create your ring into a 3-dimensional CAD design, then print it in a wax form to be prepared for casting.
Once your ring design is printed in wax, we can begin the casting process. The wax is placed in a liquid plaster, then heated to an extreme temperature. This does two things: hardens the plaster and melts the wax model. The impression left behind in the wax is filled with platinum or gold, which creates the rough cast for your piece. This cast is cut, cleaned, and prepared for the next step of creation – assembly and setting
This step of the process is the part that everyone looks forward to most. Our master craftsmen turn on their torches and steady their hands to make sure that every detail is perfect. If necessary, your ring is assembled from the individual pieces in the cast. Once that’s done, it’s given to a stone setter who places all of the diamonds and any other stones into your design by hand. Setting is an incredibly precise art because each individual stone has a specific slot that it fits into. After this is complete, your piece moves into the final phase: polishing and inspection
